The Residential Support Overnight employee provides on-site coverage to residents of the Penn Villa or Village of Hope Programs. Performs routine resident-care duties as needed. This is a position in which the employee sleeps unless there is a resident or other matter that requires attention.The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to urgent resident needs and emergencies.
Provide crisis intervention when required.
Provide a supportive environment for residents.
Ensures that any safety concerns are corrected or reported to the Program Manager.
Provides documentation of resident activity/progress/staff interventions and communicates concerns and observations to supervisory staff.
Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with St. Luke’s policy.
HOURS
Friday and Sunday, 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 3 hours Awake, and 7 hours Sleep each shift.
