The IT Hardware Asset Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of the company’s hardware assets. This role involves ensuring compliance with hardware licensing agreements, managing hardware inventory, and implementing best practices for hardware asset management (HAM). The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware asset management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments..
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze hardware asset data and creating reports.
- Execute reconciliation by comparing license entitlements with discovered hardware installations to determine effective license position for in-scope publishers.
- Analyze reconciliation reports to determine required actions to address non-compliant hardware installations.
- Manage the remediation of non-compliant hardware installations.
- Provide timely and accurate data during the software contract renewal process
- Analyze hardware usage reports and recommend removal for infrequently used hardware
- Collect data and report on the effectiveness of the hardware asset management processes
- Identify requirements to modify HAM processes..
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software asset management or a related role.
- Knowledge of hardware licensing agreements and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in hardware asset management tools (Flexera/ServiceNow) and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSAM, ITIL) are a plus.
