FTE: 0.5, Shift: Days/Some Evenings, Schedule: 9:00am - 4:30pm & 3:30pm - 8:30pm
Position Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment in collaboration with the Dietary Aide and Diet Clerk.Responsibilities
- Utilizes proper techniques to load and unload the dishwasher to ensure proper sanitization while optimizing efficient use of equipment
- Scrubs pots, pans and any other equipment that cannot go through the dishwasher in a timely fashion
- Cleans and maintains equipment according to proper operating standards
- Cleans café grills, broilers, ovens and hoods as scheduled
- Tidies and clean café and kitchen at all times
- Keeps adequate levels of supplies stocked in area so the next shift has needed items readily available
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred
- Washington State (DOH) Food Handlers card required

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.10 - $24.45 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
