Job Summary :

To provide to patients basic cardiopulmonary diagnostic services and facilitate patient care through timely reports to physicians in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental mission statements, policies and procedures.

Monday (second half of shift) 1a-7a, Tuesday 7p-7a, and Wednesday 7p-7a

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Will follow Departmental, Hospital and Human Resources Policy & Procedures.

2. Will, under the order of a physician, perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures after completion of training and competency evaluation in ECG, rhythm strip, and holter monitor hook-up/take-off.

3. Assist with ED triage

4. Will process patient billing per procedure.

5. Will act as part of the cardiac rapid response

6. Will use common sense and special medical skills to care for patients with regard to their age, diagnosis and physical abilities.

Education and Experience Required:

1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
