What you get to do:
As a Ride Technician, you’ll provide a high level of technical, electrical and mechanical expertise in order to ensure our guests enjoy a thrilling, breathtaking – and safe experience. You will:
• Complete ride opening inspections and repairs as needed
• Perform new equipment installations
• Perform varying park maintenance projects and assignments throughout the park for all rides, attractions, facilities and equipment
• Maintain knowledge of repairs through accurate and timely log and corrective action report documentation
• Assist with and maintain water quality standards
• Respond to ride calls in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain and repair all equipment, facilities, and work areas to company standards
• Ensure the overall safety of all park rides, attractions, facilities, and equipment
• Properly document and communicate relevant information and problems
• Maintain effective and professional appearance and communication with leadership, park ambassadors, and park guests at all times
• Provide outstanding internal and external guest service at all times
• Participate and support capital projects and special event projects as assigned
• Perform other duties and tasks throughout the park as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
•High school diploma, trade school or equivalent required
•A minimum of one year verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive or militaryJOB IS FROM: partimejobs.netVIEW
•Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and conveyor systems
•Possesses a valid driver's license and can adhere to company driving guidelines
•Good written communication skills required to complete maintenance documentation
•Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
•Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers
•Ability to take and pass Certified Pool Operator course
•Possess professional quality tool set
•Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.
•Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
•Must be able to work on high steel or wood structures
•Must be able to wear a full body harness
•Must be able to be respirator trained
•Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
•Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
•Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
•Promote and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and fellow ambassadors
•Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation: $24.00 hourly
