Key Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming phone calls regarding annuity products from advisors, clients, and beneficiaries. This is not a call center, however our new hire will be taking an average of 30 calls a day, developing a personalized relationship with our client
- Discuss all aspects of the annuity business by answering questions pertaining to multiple markets and product lines.
- Demonstrates consistent proactive communication with internal and external customers and partners.
- Stays current on procedures, corporate initiatives, annuity markets and products to provide accurate and timely information.
- Responds promptly and calmly to changing events and new situations.
- Maintains professionalism during interactions with advisors, clients, and beneficiaries.
- Cross-trains across franchises in New Business, Post Issue and Death Claims in order to load balance inbound calls.
- Performs other duties as required.
Mandatory Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Experience in the Life Insurance and Annuity Industry
- Strong communication skills
- Phone support and customer service experience
- Ability to work independently, multi-tasking from different systems
- MS Office products experience
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- FINRA Series 6 Securities License
Work Environment
- Home office environment
- May require shift work
- This position offers a schedule of 9 - 5:30pm CST
