JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Conferences and Institutes seeks an Adjunct Instructor with subject knowledge of the Development and Administration of Human Service Programs to provide course delivery and instruction for the Spring 2025 semester.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identification of objectives
  • Preparation of learning materials and activities
  • Presentation of specific subject content
  • Prior experience and the ability to engage learners is preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working across diverse roles in human services/non-profit, with preference for individuals whose experience includes significant leadership experience in the nonprofit sector

The selected candidates are required to complete Penn State compliance training through the Penn State LRN (Learning Resource Network) and must have a clear Motor Vehicle Record Check (MVR) for transport of students to an off-site learning experience.

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
