Part Time / 24 hours weekly

Night shift

Observation of cardiac monitors, runs record of each patient’s cardiac rhythm, answers telephone and patient call system, relays messages, and assists HUC. Follows Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.  Practice is based on the theoretical framework of nursing at Baptist Health Paducah including the principles of Relationship-Based Care.

Essential Duties:

• Records monitor readings every hour and records
• Runs admit strips on all new monitored patients

• Runs strips on any rhythm concern for providers and licensed staff
• Notifies appropriate staff of rhythm/rate concerns

Requirements:

• High School Degree
• Must obtain Completion of Elsevier Cardiac Courses within orientation period
