Monitor Tech Part Time Day Shift (bhs)

The Monitor Technician assists the nursing staff by recognizing and changes in rate, rhythm, NBP, and/or oxygen saturation and communicating those changes to the appropriate clinical personnel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Observes cardiac monitor, oxygen saturation and Blood pressure. Maintains equipment and supplies

2. Documents and communicates information regarding patient rhythms and Oxygen saturations, and blood pressure.

3. Communicates effectively to enhance unit operations

Minimum Education, Training and Experience:

A. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

B. Successfully completes Monitor Technician class within 90 days of date of hire
