House Float Registered Nurse Part Time Nights (bhs)

About the Unit:

The House Float Pool consists of seasoned, experienced nurses who can work on any inpatient unit that is in need of additional staffing.JOB IS FROM: partimejobs.netVIEW  The House Float department is also home to the house management staff who allocate staffing resources, provide guidance when issues present and supervise the float staff.  Nurses need a minimum of two years recent acute care nursing experience in the hospital setting and be comfortable floating to multiple areas. 

Job Duties:

The House Float Nurse assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions for the patient.  The Nurse establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. House Float nurses must have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to move from situation-to-situation quickly. 
 

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

Active Kentucky RN License

BCLS Required

ACLS Required within 6 months

A minimum of two years acute care experience required
