Job Summary:

ASSOCIATE PROGRAM MANAGER
Note: This is a part-time position. You will work 8 hours on Monday; your hours Tues-Friday will vary based on business needs to total 20 hours weekly.

In your pivotal role as Associate Program Manager, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing programs with some guidance. Duties/tasks include, but are not limited to, below.

• Staff Health Plus On-site Biometric Screening events. This will include weekly New Staff Orientation events, Health Fairs, travel to Regional Hospitals and off-site clinics, as well as events for night shift staff.
 On-site Biometrics (Know Your Numbers) includes screening blood pressure, weight, height, and BMI (body mass index).
• Assists with the administrative support, marketing/scheduling and execution of Health Plus programs and events, including Step Challenges, Farmers’ Market, Mindful Stretch Breaks, Wellness Commodores, etc.
• Collaborate on Go for the Gold program component development/marketing as needed
o Biometric upload administration
 PCP identification and communication for those indicating no PCP
o GFTG presentation scheduling
o GFTG enrollment lab staffing

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
Less than 1 year of experience
Local travel to/from hospitals and clinics within the Nashville area is required (mileage reimbursement will be provided).
Ability to interact with diverse populations.

PREFERRED:
Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours (possibly as late as 9:30-10PM twice monthly).
Experience in healthcare, fitness and/or wellness

Health Plus (HP) offers programs and services to the VUMC workforce that promote awareness of personal health, motivate positive health actions, provide targeted skill building interventions, and offer opportunities to put those skills into action. A wide variety of programs, tailored to the need of VUMC workforce members, are offered to address weight management, physical activity, nutrition, coping with stress, becoming tobacco free, and social engagement, among other personal health topics. • Provides support for the creation, coordination and execution of the program.
• Assists in budgetary management for the program(s).
