JOB SUMMARY
The Denials Coordinator reviews and analyzes all inpatient and outpatient denials. This individual will play a crucial role in minimizing revenue loss by efficiently managing and resolving denied claims through proactive denial management strategies to improve the organization denial rate. The Denials Coordinator position requires a strong understanding of healthcare billing processes, insurance regulations, and excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Three years of experience in denial management within a healthcare setting. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare billing processes, insurance regulations, and excellent communication skills. Proficient knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes. Excellent analytical acumen and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team-orientated with strong interpersonal skills.
