Preferred qualifications include an M.S. or Ph.D. with at least 1 years of experience at the time of appointment in immunology, virology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics, microbiology, or a related field.
Job Summary
Responsible for communicating complex scientific information to diverse audiences in a clear and engaging manner in order to bridge the gap between researchers and the public, conveying the significance and impact of clinical research findings through various written materials.Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions:
-Create clear and concise scientific articles, research papers, funding proposals, and manuscripts that highlight the findings and implications of research studies.
-Work together with researchers to prepare their data for submission to funding entities and peer-reviewed journals.
-Adapt technical information into accessible content suitable for different audiences, including research communities and funding organizations.
-Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to communicate their findings accurately and effectively.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Biology required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Experience:
Science Writing/Healthcare Communications Experience 1-2 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to various audiences effectively.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and the ability to interpret and translate research data.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to grasp and explain medical concepts accurately.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple writing assignments concurrently.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills to work with researchers, media relations, and communication teams.
