Provide care to children from birth through young adult with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric health care including well child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions. This care is provided to support optimal health of children within the context of their family, community, and environmental setting.

- Professional level of knowledge within health care field that is acquired through completion of an Advance Practice Nursing Master's Degree OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. OR current WI Physician Assistant license and National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Requires licensure as an Advanced Nurse Prescriber or Physician Assistant in the state of WI be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Requires Primary Care certification within 6 months of hire. (if applicable)
- Requires DEA number be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
- Proficiency in complex professional and administrative skills usually acquired through at least 2 years of clinical experience related to program specialty preferred. Experience in program development helpful.
- Requires independent judgment to develop, implement and monitor health care practices in area of expertise in order to ensure quality care and cost effective service.
- A high level of analytical ability to resolve complex patient care problems, administrative problems and research issues.
- Interpersonal skills which frequently involve collaborating with peers and supervisors, physicians, and administrators on policy and procedural issues.
- Working knowledge of Epic electronic health record preferred.
- May have to travel to multiple clinical sites to provide services.
