Performs a variety of duties to assure efficient scheduling of patients and staff, as well as maintenance of equipment and department files. Is capable of operating all physiological equipment and assists the operation of Radiology equipment for all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
JOB IS FROM: partimejobs.netVIEWKnowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment as acquired through completion of an approved curriculum in Radiologic Technology.
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Must possess current Wisconsin State License as a Registered Radiographer. Maintaining registered and licensed status is required.
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
One year of Interventional Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients and families who may be under physical and/or emotional stress and to gather and exchange routine patient information with other health care professionals.
Analytical skills necessary in order to determine best method of providing requested radiographs based on the specific or individual cases, enduring quality diagnostic radiographs.
Ability to lift and position patient as needed, as well as stand and walk for up to 80% of work time when accompanying patient's taking x-rays, delivering films, etc.
