These resources includes user identities, physical assets as well as the wide range of business applications that users use every day to access intellectual property or confidential information. Job Description:
As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Engineer part of myComastAccess team, you will be administering and operating the identity and access management (IAM) service delivery for Comcast on a cutting-edge team that focuses on shaping the way the enterprise views the security landscape. You will be responsible for delivering frontline technical support to users nationally. You will be handling standard operating procedures, FAQ’s, job aids for new and existing applications, log monitoring, etc. You will also be responsible for L3 support and will use your specialized knowledge to debug issues. You will work with key stakeholders in HR (Workday, VNDLY & Beeline) and IT teams to collaborate and resolve day to day issues and build long term scalable solutions.
In addition to documenting and maintaining the team’s workflow processes, you will have the aptitude to assume second level responsibilities that include automation of processes, scripting, infrastructure management, etc.
Core Responsibilities:
- Register issues and lead the engineering and support operations according to business criticality
- Carry out patching and vulnerability management exercise to ensure the myComcastAccess infrastructure is up to date
- Participate in planning and executing the DR tests end to end for Radiant Logic and myComcastAccess systems.
- Ensure uptime of myComcastAccess during US operational hours and on demand support over the weekend
- Resolve problems, documents the resolution, and communicates the resolution to the customers, business teams and senior stakeholders
- Works with the customers to implement configuration changes to the applications to meet business needs.
- Perform initial analysis of reported issues, resolve the issue or escalate to respective team for resolution
- Participate and contribute to management processes by documenting new issues and processes in knowledge repository
- Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow
- Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts
- Responsible for contributing towards the Build, Implement and Maintain processes for myComcastAccess customers
- Participate in business process and technology initiatives to improve business performance
- Participate in implementation of new business processes and functions as a result of national and divisional initiatives
- Protect customers, employees, and vendors by incorporating security and compliance into all recommendations, deliveries, decisions and daily job responsibilities.
- Follows security policies and procedures, continuously identifies and recommends opportunities for improving security.
Desired skills:
- Understanding of Identity Management, Directory Services, Role Management and general rules around Identity Services
- PowerShell or Java Scripting experience
- Red Hat Linux or Microsoft Windows experience
- SQL scripting skills a plus; Oracle exposure
- Specialised knowledge of Radiant Logic VDS and SailPoint IIQ
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as shell, Perl and Java Script
- Excellent communication and drive for customer experience
- Good customer liaison skills across all organization levels
- Works well under pressure and delivers quality solutions in a fast and compliant manner
EDUCATION:
- Requires 4 Year Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
