About the team

Compliance is an integral part of Zillow Group, and the Compliance Training & Communications team is responsible for crafting engaging, results oriented resources. As a Senior Instructional Designer for the Compliance Training & Communications Team, you will lead the development, implementation, and success tracking of compliance training and communications initiatives. This position requires excellent design, training, storytelling and organizational skills. Collaboration, curiosity, and the ability to create clarity from ambiguity are essential to be successful in this role.

About the role

  • Develop, deploy, and manage communication, education, and learning tools for Zillow Group Corporate Compliance Division.
  • Manage communications for the Zillow Compliance Team, including newsletters, bulletins, drip campaigns, and time sensitive communications plans.
  • Create and deliver a variety of content for training, including live and self-led sessions, job aids, manuals, guides, infographics, presentations, FAQs, videos, and other training materials.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across Zillow to develop the most efficient and effective training/communications resources.
  • Manage the reporting function for compliance training initiatives' scope and efficiency, including attendance, completion, and test results. Analyze reports to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Plan end-to-end projects and craft strategic narratives for training programs. Create compelling and concise communications to guide 800+ learners through 6000+ training instances.
  • Document processes and procedures, assisting Subject Matter Experts in analyzing and simplifying processes to optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop, update, troubleshoot issues of templates for self-use library.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $79,300.00 - $126,700.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree

  • Excellent ability to create and tell a compelling story.

  • Mastery of standard content development tools including Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Google Sheet Camtasia, Captivate, and at least one online presentation tool (for example: WebEx, Zoom, Adobe Connect, etc.).
