Compliance Monitoring Manager

For this role we are open to consider applicants from other European locations.

The purpose of this role is to participate in and oversee the delivery of Independent Business Monitoring (“IBM”) and Third-Party Monitoring (“TPM”) reviews, to help ensure GSK is maintaining the highest standards.

Please note that there will be a travel requirement for this role up to 10-15%.

In this role you will

  • Independently manage and perform IBM and TPM monitoring reviews in accordance with the Compliance framework and GSK’s Internal Control Framework. This includes partnering with our external consultant to plan, execute and report on monitoring activity
  • Ensure monitoring reviews are focused on key risk areas
  • Oversee the work done by the external consultant to ensure delivery of the monitoring plan against quality standards and on time
  • Interpret data and perform analytics to identify trends to direct monitoring activity and to inform senior stakeholders
  • Partner with the business and Compliance to provide remediation guidance or support implementation of controls to mitigate identified and emerging risks
  • Contribute to the regional and global monitoring strategy and continued improvement of monitoring processes

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Degree in Compliance, Audit, Law, or Finance, or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Relevant and demonstrable pharmaceutical or related field experience. A broad life sciences or pharmaceutical industry background with several years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, or pharmaceutical Commercial Practices is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of applicable global, regional and local standards (e.g., IFPMA, EFPIA) in the life sciences industry
  • Ability to:
    • Assess risks in a given area/function and understand compliance requirements.
    • Function effectively and strategically in teams.
    • Manage delivery of multiple global projects and programs, which can contain regional focus/drivers in a culturally diverse and matrix organisation.
    • Manage cross-functional activities.
    • Communicate impactful with senior stakeholders.
    • Perform basic data analyses.
  • High degree of organisational awareness.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Leading Professional in Ethics & Compliance

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Certified Fraud Examiner
  • Chartered accountant/CPA
  • Certified Internal Auditor
  • Experience with data analytics/data science desirable
