Job Description:
Under the direction of the Chair and the Associate Chair, Information & Communications Technology – Security, Systems & Networking, the Professor is responsible for facilitating and guiding learning and providing an effective learning environment for all students. The professional responsibilities include:
Providing tutoring and academic advising for students both in and out of class;
Providing a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources including educational technologies;
Evaluating student progress/achievement and assuming responsibility for the overall assessment of the student’s work within assigned courses;
The development and creation of a learning environment that is conducive to success for all students;
Modeling the College values – Caring. Learning. Integrity. Respect.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Master’s Degree preferred;
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on industry experience in networking, routing and switching, and networking technologies & automation;
Proven experience with real-world networking troubleshooting and configuration;
CCAI certification is required;
Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a postsecondary setting is considered an asset;
Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a postsecondary setting is considered an asset;
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies is considered an asset;
Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills;

Note: Must have flexibility to teach during the day from Monday to Friday.
