The Roller Skating instructor will be responsible for conducting an encouraging and uplifting environment for all participants. Instruct students in the basics of the skating class lessons and requirements, while maintaining discipline and safety at all times. Skill sets vary drastically within each semester so understanding how to evaluate and elevate a student's skill set is the ultimate goal. You will be responsible for working with the roller skating general manager about fees, days, times, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Instructing the basics of roller skating while implementing progressions throughout the year for individual skill sets
- Working with the roller skating rink on availability and fees (Trinity pays fees.) You are the liaison between Trinity and the skating rink to make sure all is in order prior to the course starting and throughout the semester.JOB IS FROM: partimejobs.netVIEW
- Working with individual students on completing the course in the best personal and safest ways possible
- Working with the PE instructor to ensure the class is living up to the Trinity PHED Standard and fulfilling requirements for the partaking students
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies.
- Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's Degree Preferred:
EXPERIENCE
Required: At least 2-3 years of roller skating instructing experience; no matter the age range. Preferred: Prior experience within a college atmosphere of teaching.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
Preferred: Roller Skating experience along with any certification of completion when coming to instructing roller skating, or knowledge of roller skating progressions.

ATTENDANCE STANDARD
Maintaining and satisfying minimum attendance requirements are an essential requirement of this position, including working all full-time regular hours as established by the supervisor in addition to any scheduled or emergency overtime.
