The successful candidate:
Must be able to work PT; 7a-7:30p.
Plan, deliver, direct, coordinate, and evaluate therapeutic interventions based on needs identified in the assessment process.
Document interventions provided.
Supervise care delivery by unlicensed support staff.
Provide education regarding disease processes, side effects of treatment, and health promotion.

Document according to department standards.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and accrediting agencies.
Participate in the development, review, and updating of policies and procedures.
Actively participate in the Performance Improvement plan of the unit.
Obtain allergy information and handle medication reconciliation with the patient or family member.
Communicate this information to other providers.
Verify and note physician orders.
Provide safe delivery of prescribed medications and treatments, and evaluate outcomes in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License required
BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date.
Current BLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire)
Current ACLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire)
Oncology experience preferred
Recent ICU and/or OR experience preferred
Experience in caring for patients with invasive pressure lines desirable
Experience in caring for patients who are on mechanical ventilation desirable
