Summary :
The Application Analyst I, ERP (WorkDay-Finance) will be a critical team member responsible for supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the Workday Finance, with working knowledge of Supply Chain Modules, and will partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues and pursue opportunities for increased efficiency. This role requires knowledge of business processes and best practices in Workday, along with excellent technical and problem-solving abilities. This position maintains the foundational data model, business processes, database maintenance and reporting needs for the various work groups. Works closely with operational leaders to gather requirements needed for system build and solutions. Serves as a liaison to lead and coordinate issues with vendor technical support and operational leaders. Assists in the development of risk mitigation strategies for application implementation and maintenance, and possess system integration expertise.Job Description:
Key Accountabilities
- Support maintenance of Workday configuration, including setup and functional configuration. Experience required in multiple modules such as: Financial Accounting, Payroll, Projects, Project Billing, Accounts Payable, Expense, Procurement, Planning, Procure to Pay, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, and EDI Integrations
- Gather requirements for, create, and maintain data and configuration changes required to accommodate rapid organizational and business process requirements
- Work closely with the business teams to understand system pain points, determine root causes, and develop solutions to address short and long-term issues
- Implement solutions through successful design, development, testing, and deployment with required documentation
- Manage support tickets ensuring thorough, timely work and compliance with documentation procedures in ticket tracking system
- Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Design and develop custom reports as required for business users
- Configure and administer security in compliance with policies and procedures
- Support Workday Release activities
- Engage the Steering Committee as an active decision making and resourcing team supporting the ERP platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Understanding of database structures and elements
- Workday Certification Required or obtained within 6 months of hire, whereby ThedaCare will pay for training and certification.
- At least one year of experience in ERP Systems or database management, preferred.
- At least one year of Project Management experience, preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
- Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
Work Environment
- Normally works in climate controlled office environment
- Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space
- Use of computers throughout work day
- Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrist and fingers
