Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION WORKING 20 hours A WEEK
Responsibilities
Delivery and pickup of chemicals / compressed gases at regional customer and vendor sites.
Physically loading and unloading of material, using adequate equipment (forklift, manual or electrical jack, cylinder cart, etc.).
Understand and follow proper spills / emergency cleanup procedures.
Check proper labeling of all materials (possible correction with shipping/receiving staff).
Direct interface with internal & external customers.
Support safety, efficiency, and waste reduction programs.
Complete paperwork as required (daily trip sheets including ELD logs, and vehicle inspection reports, inbound product reports, BOL, etc.).
Perform a pre and post trip inspection of the tractor and trailer assigned to the delivery of that day. Safely complete the coupling of the tractor and trailer if necessary.
Safely maneuver the tractor and trailer at highway speeds and also through city and suburban roads and to include vendor and customer site following all posted driving restrictions with no exceptions.
Know the rules set by the DOT as stated in the CFR 49 for the safe transport of hazardous materials and follow those rules with no exceptions.
Safely back trailer as needed to accomplish the daily deliveries set for each route and follow the procedures set by Air Liquide which includes coning all pinch points and if possible(as needed) closing off the area to traffic during the backup process, and applying chocks to all dropped vehicles or vehicles being loaded or unloaded.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of chemical / compressed gas experience
Minimum 25 years of age.
Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license with Hazmat and Tank endorsements.
Driver’s license must be for state of domicile, with a clean driving record.
Must have initiative and be self-motivated.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work in a independently, be organized and multitasking. Dedicated to quality and accuracy.
Crank a trailer landing gear handle upward or down to adjust trailer height so a safe tractor & trailer coupling may be achieved.
Pull with some resistance a Fifth wheel lock handle when uncoupling a tractor & trailer.
Climb up and down either in and out of cab or up and down the catwalk behind the cab to remove and apply glad hand air supply or change placards as needed at each delivery location.
Strap and ratchet cylinders on an Air Liquide steel pallet. Roll one cylinder for a distance of 5 feet.
Transport 2 cylinders at a time with a cart on distances of 20ft- 150ft.
