Program Summary
KBR's Readiness and Sustainment division is the Team Behind the Mission®. We deliver mission critical services to the U.S. military and coalition partners around the world. Our key capabilities include base operations; contingency and expeditionary support; next generation asset management; digitally focused logistics; prepositioned stock; and integrated supply chain management. Our Travel team plays a critical role in supporting the logistics of these missions as part of our People Operations organization, and we anticipate strong growth in the coming year. People Operations includes pre-employment onboarding, deployment processing, HSE, and travel. We are under the umbrella of Human Resources and offer many paths for cross-training and career growth.
Job Summary
What You'll Do: As a Travel Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role supporting data-driven decision-making and optimizing travel logistics, positive employee experience, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing all aspects of travel for deployments, leaves, and OCONUS travel around the world.
In this role you will work overnight, NIGHT-SHIFT hours to accommodate travel requests from projects located around the world, in real time.
This position is REMOTE within the continental United States.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and other logistics.
- Ensure all travel complies with company policies and federal law.
- Collect and analyze data related to operational metrics.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to guide business decisions.
- Partner with People Analytics to define dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, or similar.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis processes through automation and improve overall data accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**This role will primarily work remotely but will require up to 10% travel into the Houston office as needed for training, meetings, and events.
**Please note: Training for this role will take place during both Day-Shift and Night-Shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of directly related experience in travel, logistics, or a closely related field.
- Must have strong, demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access-Or similar databases.)
- Requires proven experience creating organizational systems and implementing process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Experience in analytics, ideally within travel, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience reconciling travel (or other business) expenses.
- Prior operational support experience in a federal contracting environment.
- Experience supporting employees in OCONUS locations.
- Willingness to travel overseas for extended periods of time.
