Summary:
The Cigna Medicare team is driving significant growth. Our environment is fast paced, the work is meaningful and intense, and our performance expectations are high. The primary function of the National Broker Sales Coordinator is to enable growth by supporting the national team and helping them manage the performance and productivity of our external distribution partners, both local and national broker partners and call centers.
The Sales Coordinator provides administrative support to our national and local broker channel leaders as well as the national Strategists and Account Management teams. Broad responsibilities include: planning/coordination of large events, meetings or conferences (internal and external), preparing executive-level presentations, ordering materials and collaterals, consolidating and creation of partner sales reports, and various other sales support and administrative functions.
The successful candidate for this role will be adept at multi-tasking, have strong organizational skills to keep track of projects while maximizing productivity, have the ability to anticipate and detect problems and opportunities in situations and relationships and have a service-minded attitude. In addition, we are looking for someone with a creative side that is comfortable creating executive-level, brand compliant presentations that tell our story using sales reports, training materials and other relevant documentation. Minimal travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and in a team environment on various projects, which would include planning and coordinating presentations, disseminating information and organizing events.
- Create spreadsheets and charts, PowerPoint presentations, visual representations, and diagrams using data and graphics for internal and external distribution.
- Planning and scheduling internal and external sales meetings and events, prioritizing functions and appointments, and ensuring that meetings, deadlines, presentations, and logistics are handled seamlessly.
- Write reports on the status of major projects after meeting action item reports, keeping teams informed on the status of assignments, projects, and general operations.
- Order bulk supplies, marketing materials and promotional items
- Use analytical tools (Excel, Salesforce.com, and Tableau) to prepare, format, and distribute standard and ad hoc reporting as needed.
- May be asked to coordinate business travel in accordance with travel preferences and corporate travel/expense guidelines using Cigna’s booking tool. Requires 100% accuracy of travel itineraries and reservations.
- May be asked to coordinate accurate submission of expense reports for all travel and expenses in a timely manner.
- Leverage and share technology, presentations and best practices with other Sales Coordinators in the organization to facilitate the team's effectiveness.
- Perform additional sales administrative responsibilities at the discretion of local market management
- May attend meetings and travel as requested.
Qualifications:
- 3 or more years professional experience in healthcare or related field, especially in Medicare, preferred.
- BA/BS degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
- Experience as a Sales Coordinator or Administrative Assistant may be advantageous.
- Advanced-level expertise and demonstrated ability to produce executive-level, brand -compliant presentations in PowerPoint is a must.
- Must also have a solid working knowledge of MS Excel, and MS Word. Advanced knowledge of the entire MS Office suite is a plus.
- Must have good written communication, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
- Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, remain focused, and execute work with minimal supervision, able to multi-task effectively.
- Meeting planning skills and demonstrated budget tracking/analysis skills, a plus.
- Experience with reporting/CRM software programs like Tableau or Salesforce (preferred)
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 25 - 38 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
