The Office of Institutional Research and Planning is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Institutional Analyst IV. This position within IRP that is responsible for critical data reporting that keeps the University of Louisville in compliance with all state and federal reporting mandates to the US Department of Education (IPEDS). They will also perform crucial functions with respect to collecting and analyzing data to inform academic units of performance related to their budgets by serving as the technical co-lead on enterprise software platforms (such as Academic Performance Solutions and SAS Visual Analytics). These software platforms are used in the university budget model, academic program review, and creating data visualizations for the university community. The incumbent will also perform mathematical modeling in response to reporting needs to gauge UofL's performance on KPIs related to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education's (CPE) performance funding model and diversity plan, in addition to the completion of higher-level statistical analyses. The incumbent will also complete all analyses for senior administration relating to student success (such as graduation rates, retention rates, DFW rates, etc.) for presentation to the Board of Trustees and other key constituents.

The essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Providing technical support to enterprise software solutions.
Co-lead training sessions on the implementation of new software components.
Serve as a point of contact for the academic units to troubleshoot data anomalies.
Daily/weekly data validation between the enterprise platform and PeopleSoft.
Serving as a technical co-lead for the promotion of reports in SAS Visual Analytics
Create mathematical models in response to academic unit reporting needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of PeopleSoft, relational databases, data extraction practices, data visualizations.
Competencies
Project Management - organized, task oriented, ability to delegate and follow up.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
