PwC Poland’s Digital& - Application Development team comprises 130 people. We are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. The number of tasks we undertake is extensive: from design, building and implementation, through preparation of functional specifications and analysis of data in source systems, to the definition of business requirements, support in testing and development of mobile applications. The department provides IT consulting services, mainly to financial institutions from Poland and abroad.
Your future role:
product development and maximizing of its value using Scrum framework,
own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs,
ensuring that the product is both functional and technically sound,
collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements, including not only strategy and business needs but also technical aspects of the product, such as system architecture, APIs and infrastructure,
identifying solutions based on proven best practices or new approaches, in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT architects / Tech Leads,
creating a product development roadmap,
managing development team, budget and relationships with our clients,
tracking and monitoring the product progress at each stage of the development,
representing the team in front of stakeholders, clients or users,
propagating the vision of the product within the development team.

Apply if you:
have at least 5 years professional experience in the role of Product Owner focusing on both business and technical aspects of IT products,
have a good level of understanding of fundamental IT concepts (e.g., REST APIs, databases, using cloud resources and services, event-based communication), as well as the overall software development process and systems architecture (microservices, monoliths, etc.),
have a technical background. A strong technical foundation is essential for this role. You should have hands-on experience in software development, system architecture or technical project management, with a solid understanding of how complex technical systems function,
understand the process of application release management,
demonstrate deep knowledge and practical experience in working in SCRUM,
have practical experience with backlog management tools (Jira / Azure DevOps),
have very good communication skills in English (C1 or above),
exercise strong interpersonal and soft skills - essential in day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team in an international environment,
are willingness to travel for occasional business trips,
Nice to have:
product Management certification,
knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
