The City Attorney’s Office serves as the chief legal counsel to the Mayor, City Council, City Auditor, City Clerk and Recorder, and all City agencies. What We Offer
This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work 20 hours per week and no more than 39 hours per week. The pay range for this position $25.00 - $31.00/hour based on experience and education and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.
Location
This role is primarily based at the Wellington Webb Building (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202) and may require occasional travel to other City buildings, all within walking distance. The work schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, with specific hours to be determined upon hire.
What You’ll Do
The City Attorney’s Office Prosecution and Code Enforcement (PACE) Section is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time Executive Assistant position, working 20 hours per week.
Specifically, as the Executive Assistant of City Attorney’s Office, you will:
Oversee the functionality and maintenance of printers in courtroom
Ensure brochures are printed, organized, and consistently stocked for distribution
Maintain and update the internal staff phone list
Maintain office supplies inventory and order new supplies when necessary
Assist with filing pretrial and probation revocation reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage staff mailboxes
Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling and securing rooms for all-PACE meetings
Provide support for travel arrangements, including preparing necessary paperwork and securing hotel invoices
Distribute weekly staff newsletters

Assist in onboarding new employees
Oversee the ordering, setup, and distribution of company phones for employees, ensuring all devices are configured and ready for use

Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of administrative/secretarial experience which must include one year of experience providing support to a core middle manager.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.
License/Certifications: None
