Seeking a reliable individual with good communication skills and technological proficiencies who can commit to part-time work on a 16-month project.
JOB SUMMARY
The Research Project Coordinator serves as an integral part of the research team, administers the day-to-day activities of the study; ensures record-keeping, acts as a communication hub including interaction with team members and participants. Coordination with a videography group.
Project focus: Bereaved parents after loss of a baby. Part of the role will be interacting with parents who have lost a baby in pregnancy or after birth. Sensitive communication skills needed; must be able to convey a caring presence.
Project Timeline: January 2025 to May 2026.
Schedule: 16 hours/week on average; (no benefits); Hybrid Schedule: on-campus & work from home
Coordinator needs to have flexibility in work hours, dependent on the needs of the project (i.e. timing of focus groups; research team meetings) , a combination of on-campus (South Campus; Nursing) and work from home; occasional evenings or weekends possible.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include organizational and communication interface with all people involved in the work including the principal and co-investigators, focus group moderator, video instruction team, and all those involved with the Parent Advisory Board (PAB). This will include assistance in recruiting members for the Parent Advisory Board, scheduling sessions, procuring transcriptions, record-keeping of video clips for training modules, and facilitating honoraria.

This position will require the individual to work in the office, with the flexibility to work some remotely in compliance with the requirements of the SLU Remote Staff Flexible Work Policy.
This position is being funded by a grant and/or designated source and therefore continuation in the position is contingent upon funding availability.
