What you get to do:

  • Responsible for providing support to engineering department to ensure successful completion of park projects on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and organizing engineering documents (blueprints, specifications, soils reports, surveys, record drawings, etc.) hard copy and electronic.
  • Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.


Principle Duties

  • Performs light drafting with new and existing documents.
  • Maintains engineering documents and records; organize, scan, file, and archive.
  • Project coordination, project closeout, permit coordination support.
  • Light drafting work including updating of utility drawings and drafting to support park projects.
  • SAP building assignment for projects.
  • Maintains safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What it takes to succeed:

  • Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit and able to produce single dimensioned layouts, including ability to incorporate updates to existing documents.
  • Must have light accounting knowledge related to tracking budgets and spreadsheets.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license; visiting students and military must have a valid driver’s license from state of residency and able to provide a copy of the DMV report.
  • Must be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
  • Pursuing engineering, architectural, project management, or construction related degree strongly preferred.
  • Resume required.

Compensation: 17.25 USD Hourly
