GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the P/T Stockroom Clerk will be responsible to accurately perform and reconcile cycle counts, receive and issue maintenance parts and to maintain the SDS inventory and sheets for maintenance chemicals. The Stockroom Clerk will also participate in problem solving of the receiving process, housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accurately perform and reconcile cycle count documents.
2. Become proficient in SAP.
3. Receive maintenance parts and put away in their correct location.
4. Issue maintenance parts accurately to correct cost center/work orders.
5. Assist production/maintenance finding parts and supplies in the stockroom.
6. Maintain SDS sheets for all of maintenance chemicals.
7. Clean, organize and improve stockroom areas as needed.
8. Attention to detail when counting and receiving parts is critical for the accuracy of our inventory.
9. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):
Microsoft Office and SAP experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Inventory experience
Experience working with maintenance parts.
OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED
Good written/verbal communication skills.
Forklift Certified or ability to become certified.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $18.35.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
