SW Developer / remote maintenance system (m/f/d)

Your are responsible for:

• Development and maintenance: Of 3-tier Enterprise Applications (e.g., remote maintenance applications) in general and of frontend and backend functionalities for web and desktop applications

• System optimisation: Implementing measures to optimise the IT infrastructure of the remote maintenance environment, based on in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies

• System updates and patches: Carrying out system updates and patches for various technologies and products, always in close collaboration with internal customers and the project team

• Cooperation and teamwork: Working with product management (remote maintenance), colleagues from other departments to ensure efficient integration and maintenance of the systems

• IT infrastructure extensions: Implementing extensions and upgrades to the existing IT infrastructure, providing troubleshooting support and analysing system performance

• Technical responsibility: Taking overall technical responsibility within projects to ensure their success by applying your technical expertise

• Regulatory: Supporting internal and external audits, e.g., by providing reports

Your profile:

• Training and studies: Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or information systems or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

• Expertise: You should have in-depth knowledge or strong motivation to learn in these areas:

• Must: Object-oriented language (e.g., Java), SQL, JakartaEE, Java FX, REST API

• Should: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript, Postgres, Wildfly

• Desirable: General knowledge Operating systems: Linux and/or Windows

• curiosity for new technologies, frameworks and up-to-date methodologies in software development

• Experience in setting up CI/CD environments

• Reliability and customer focus: you are known for your high level of reliability and confident customer service, always with a customer- and service-oriented approach

• Working style: you work independently and purposefully, enabling you to handle even complex tasks efficiently and successfully

• Soft skills: You have excellent communication skills, are a strong team player and can work well under pressure, enabling you to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.

• Language Skills:

  • Necessary: German and English

  • additionally desirable: French or Italian
