We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Coordinator for a temporary six-month role in a higher education setting. This position will contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and communications for University Services, with a strong focus on event planning and management.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Communications and Content Creation
- Develop and implement communication strategies to engage students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. JOB IS FROM: partimejobs.netVIEW
- Manage content creation for newsletters, social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Ensure consistent and strategic messaging across all channels.
Event Planning and Management
- Coordinate and support university services events, including planning, logistics, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful execution of events.
- Track event metrics and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Marketing Support
- Assist in the execution of marketing plans, including designing and supervising content creation for print and digital materials.
- Support social media efforts, including content timeline and monitoring engagement.
- Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- At least two years of professional experience with writing, editing and optimizing content for digital and print communications
- At least wo years of experience in marketing communications or event planning.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain policies.
- Proficient in software/program skills - Microsoft office suite, survey tools, socia media platforms, WordPress, Adobe Creative, Canva and MyEmma.
- Proven ability to foster productive working relationships with diverse constituencies.
- Ability to think outside of the box and develop creative solutions.
- Curious, analytical, technological bent.
- Ability to exercise discretions and maintain absolute confidentiality.
