Position Description:

The Office of International, Engagement, and Equity Programs (IEEP) supports the College of Arts & Sciences in its efforts to transform the teaching, learning, and working environment into one of full inclusion and equity for all, to promote and advance the value of global citizenship, and to develop and sustain engagement programs that empower the community and build knowledge while integrating scholarship with real life experience. This is a part-time Intermittent Temporary position, working fifteen hours per week designing, directing and coordinating activities for the office.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Design, direct, and coordinate activities of the University of Louisville IEEP office.

  • Design, direct, and coordinate activities of the Yearlings Club Forum Series.

  • Manage and direct educational programming activities associated with the Civil Rights Markers Project.

  • Identify and write grant program proposals (corporate and government).

  • Provide grant administration for grants received.

  • Manage, direct, and supervise outside vendors, volunteers, and staff at community outreach programs.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education, training, and/or relevant experience. 

Knowledge and experience working with diverse communities, knowledge of government structures, agencies and policies. Planning events and experience in identifying resources, including finances within and external to the university for events and programs. Program implementation.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
