Position Summary
The Department of Finance, Economics, Marketing, and Accounting, in the College of Business, Economics, and Technology at the National University invites applications for
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead classroom sessions onsite in San Diego.
- Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities.
- Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
- Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.)
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in economics, accounting, finance, or any other business degree with a quantitative certificate from a regionally accredited institution.
- 3+ years of direct teaching experience at the undergraduate level in business math, business statistics, management science, or business analytics (introductory and intermediate level).
- Ability to teach using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, Solver, Tableau, and large datasets.
- Experience with the online delivery modality of higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Curriculum development experience.
- Experience working as a remote employee.
- 5 years of field experience in economics, accounting, finance, or other quantitative business fields required, administrative or command experience.

Compensation Range:
Hourly: $26.63 - $28.89Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position.
