Job Title: Transport Administrator – HGV compliance
Department: Transport
Fixed term contract of 12 months
Location: Newcastle
Reports To: Transport Management Team
Days / Hours : Monday – Friday 1200 – 1800 (30 hours)
Hourly rate: £12.56 ph.

We are looking for a Transport Administrator to be a part of our Logistics team. You will be responsible for assisting the Transportation Manager with all day to day transportation activities. Helping develop efficient transport operations and optimising the existing strategies will be a part of your job role.
You will be responsible for assisting with HGV Compliance
Responsibilities
• Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs
• HGV Compliance
• HGV Logistic Administration.
• Handling any customer complaints and processing the urgent ones to the Management Team
• implementing new and improved transportation procedures
Requirements
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
• Ability to coordinate with managers, drivers, and customer services
• Quick decision-making ability
• Strong PC skills including Teams, word, excel.
