About the Opportunity

The Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University invites applications for the position of part-time lecturer, teaching in the Computer Science [CS] Masters Programs at our campus in Miami, Florida. Part-time positions are contingent upon enrollment, funding, and program needs.

Responsibilities:
 

Part-time faculty teach one or more courses as part of the MS CS and Align MS CS degree programs. Courses are 14 weeks long, with fall, spring, and summer terms beginning in September, January, and May, respectively. Each course normally meets for 3 hours and 20 minutes once per week, often in the evening to support working students. Other meeting schedules are possible. Faculty are expected to teach in-person. We are searching across all areas of computer science.

Qualifications:
 

We are seeking individuals committed to excellence in teaching. Candidates must hold at least a Master’s degree with industry experience. A Ph.D. in computer science or a related field is preferred. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively with diverse and exceptional students in-person and online.
