The Associate Insurance Representative processes and posts incoming payment to our insurance and private pay accounts.

Job Description

Processes daily workflow changes that depending on department may include, eligibility verification, verification of information, payment postings, initiating refunds, processing month end, resolving and troubleshooting incidents, scanning and indexing of documents, and be the point of contact to provide assistance as needed.

Aside from posting payments, will be responsible for balancing and reconciling general ledger accounts. Will ensure payments are in balance and posted timely.

Completes work within authorized time to assure compliance with departmental standards. Processes electronic and manual payments as received. Works in multiple computer systems each day. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous billing experience preferred.
