Position Summary

Cigna Benefit and Clinical Operations Lead Analyst is responsible for handling a wide variety of complex client level requests as well as Cigna Benefit installation projects.  The successful candidate would be heavily engaged in a wide range of complex issue analysis, problem solving and other tasks to ensure accurate installation of requirements for cross functional partners and clients. Success in this role would be supported by intermediate account service skills and operational knowledge of client installation and associated systems to successfully complete assigned work. Position requires frequent and detailed communication with internal cross-functional partners. The successful candidate is proactive and willing to initiate actions to identify opportunities for improvement and championing those opportunities to completion. The expectation is that these continual improvement projects, are balanced with normal workload is delivered on time and as expected.

Position is accountable for assigned work with a focus on client satisfaction, quality, timeliness, performance guarantees and the effective use of cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across the organization to identify, plan, and execute process improvement projects.

  • Assist with project planning by tracking status, milestones, risks for each project.

  • Determine return on investment and manage project priorities.

  • Complete assigned tasks and provide support to operation teams. 

  • Execute assignments within committed targeted completion dates.

  • Assist with issue management and track issues to completion.  

  • Adhere to all organizational SOPs and Compliance standards.

  • Report risks/issues and mitigation to management in a timely manner

  • Work independently to resolve standard and complex problems using existing procedures; engage cross-functional support and escalate as needed.

  • Show ability to be proactive in engaging in and participating in process improvement initiatives and other team projects.

  • Support special projects as assigned by leadership.

  • Demonstrates leadership abilities by assisting with peer training, mentoring and support.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 3+ years of pharmacy operations experience & knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in this space required

  • Knowledge and operational expertise in Express Scripts operating environment and tools (Channel Management, Client Benefit Manager) is preferred

  • Strong attention to detail; problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work cross functionally to resolve issues

  • Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadline required

  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, troubleshoot problems and make decisions

  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the Internet preferred

  • Strong focus on customer service required


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 61,200 - 102,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
