Provides leadership of the Professional Billing team to ensure timely billing, collection, and payment posting of Children's Hospital and Health System professional charges from all payers.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Healthcare or related field.
  • Requires 5 years of experience in professional billing or related experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of professional billing practices, policies and procedures, health insurance standards, and revenue cycle workflows.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with ability to work with other department leaders, providers, peers, and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities for self and staff, and to delegate appropriately.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under time and resource constraints.
  • Experience in auditing, training, and communicating revenue cycle policy and concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Skilled experience and knowledge of Windows-based software.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the Children's Organizational Code of Ethics and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to Children's business.
  • Normal office environment where there is no reasonable potential for exposure to blood or other high risk body fluids.
  • Prior experience in a large health system managing professional billing functions preferred.
  • Experience in Epic Resolute preferred.
