In this role you will support customer requirements as you review customer orders and requirements,  communicate with the manufacturing sites to ensure delivery availably, and maintain accurate information in SAP.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages a regular forecasting process at both the detail and aggregated program/customer level

  • Maintain demand planning and forecasting assumptions, analysis, and decisions

  • Ensure customer contractual requirements regarding demand and order execution are appropriately executed

  • Performs analysis and prepare reports to ensure that demand is flowing accurately

  • Participate as the demand owner/representative in an organization’s sales and operations planning process, to enable demand-supply balancing analysis

  • Ensures data integrity and quality by reviewing data, identifying unusual occurrences, seeking explanations and assisting in developing corrections to prevent reoccurrences

  • Consult with functional teams such as contracts, supply planning, value stream leader, operations, finance, business development and product development (if applicable) to obtain relevant data and insights on demand

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to influence the demand on the supply chain and prioritize demand for order fulfillment based on business objectives and customer segmentation

  • Perform to key performance indicators to track and evaluate forecasts made, to assist in assessing the effectiveness of the demand planning & forecasting function, and to work towards continuous improvement

  • Provide clear and concise recommendations to upper level management on information regarding future trends and demands.

  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders

  • Adhere to and comply with policies, procedures and standard work processes.

  • Support customer meetings and requests

  • Perform day to day administrative tasks

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience 

  • 2+ years experience in a customer service or demand manager role within manufacturing

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience from the aerospace industry

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
