Title: Part-Time Registered Dietitian 

Location: Coral Gables, FL (University of Miami– Herbert Wellness Center) 

Salary: $40 per session; $17/ hr. meeting rate 

General Description: 

Within the Department of Wellness & Recreation, the purpose of the part-time Dietitian position is primarily to provide one-on-one nutrition consultations with clients from the University of Miami community. This may also include presenting information in a group setting and developing educational materials. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide evidence-based nutrition consultation to clients during initial assessments and follow-up consultation sessions both in-person and virtual. 
• Develop informational materials needed. 
• Document notes in a timely manner and keep accurate records. 
• Assist with administrative and marketing tasks as needed. 
• Potential for assisting with marketing and presentations as needed. 
• Coordinate referrals to other departments within the Healthy Cane Network. 
• Meet regularly with direct supervisor, the Director, Wellness Programs. 
• Maintain regular, documented availability for sessions and monitor appointment schedule closely. 

Qualifications: 

• Registered Dietitian 
• Master’s degree 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
